The Arizona Insurance Council (AIC), formerly the known as the Arizona Insurance Information Association, was chartered in 1986 as an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is “to create understanding and improve the competitive marketplace for property and casualty insurers that protect the autos, homes and businesses of Arizona consumers.”
The AIC’s primary objective is to help all Arizonans achieve a better understanding of property and casualty insurance and related safety issues. To attain this goal, the AIC develops, gathers and disseminates information to assist consumers, journalists, regulators and public policymakers.
By providing accurate and timely research to Arizonans, the AIC helps promote the availability and affordability of insurance in a financially sound, competitive marketplace.
The AIC is funded by a number of insurance companies and organizations that share its belief that the best decisions are based on the best information.
