The Arizona Insurance Council (AIC), formally the Arizona Insurance Information Association, was chartered in 1986 as an independent, non-profit organization.
Our education goal is to improve the business climate for property and casualty insurers where the public better understands insurance products and their value; regulators and legislators comprehend our business practices better; the news media seek out our perspective more, and as a result, news reporting is more balanced.
Our engagement goal is to build partnerships with community and private sector organizations and government agencies whose focus is public safety and loss mitigation. Together, we can protect our homes, autos and businesses against perils, reduce accidents and injuries and save lives.
The AIC is funded by property and casualty insurance companies and organizations that support a healthy business climate and competitive marketplace for consumers.
