It is my privilege to serve as this year’s president of the Arizona Insurance Council (AIC) along with Tim Goeller, vice president; Michael Valluzzo, treasurer; and Wanda Revells, corporate secretary.

The AIC is a leading voice in Arizona for personal and commercial lines of property and casualty insurance.  Our Mission is education and engagement to increase Arizona’s understanding about insurance products and practices and the vital role insurance plays in Arizona’s economy.

Insurance makes it possible to buy a home or car, open a business, protect employees, and allow cities and schools to operate without fear of losses due to fire, storm damage or lawsuits. Insurance is the safety net that allows consumers and businesses to rebuild or recover after an accident, injury or sustaining a loss.

In addition, the AIC is committed to working closely with regulators and policymakers to ensure that Arizona insurance remains a competitive marketplace that benefits consumers and businesses.
